At Maruta, we believe in “local first”, the concept of revitalizing the local economy by gathering local resources and utilizing local goods. Also, whenever possible, we use organic ingredients provided by local producers. One of our most popular seasonal ingredients, Japanese horse mackerels, is caught in the early morning from Izu Islands and then flown in that same day into Chofu Airport and then delivered to Maruta. These deliveries of fresh seafood allow us at Maruta to serve seafood caught on the very same day.

Lunch menu

Lunch course ¥ 7,000 (excluding tax)

(Consists of five dishes including an appetizer, main course, desserts, etc. + herb tea from our garden)

Dinner Menu

Dinner course ¥ 12,000 (excluding tax)

(Consists of nine dishes including an appetizer, seafood dishes, meat dishes, desserts, etc. + coffee)

Dining is by reservation only. We cannot accept walk-ins.

About child reservation
For guests accompanied by children, a ¥ 1,000(excluding tax) seat charged will be added to the total bill for each infant or toddler. Elementary school age children will be charged for the ‘children’s course’ ( ¥ 4,000 – excluding tax) and junior high students and older will be charged the regular menu price.

In consideration of other guests, please keep children in their seats.

We accept reservations only from customers who understand the above. (By making a reservation, customers consent to our restaurant policies.)

Please include any food allergies, or dietary restrictions when making your reservation.  For customers who are allergic to many ingredients, please be advised that your reservation may be declined at the time of booking if the menu contains any of these ingredients.

All customers will be seated at a large banquet table and will dine “shared-plate” style by sharing the food served on large platters with other guests. 
Please note that we may be unable to accommodate seating requests.

Meals will commence for all guests at the same time and will be served in courses. 
If you are late for your reservation, you may miss the opportunity to enjoy an appetizer or other dishes.

Cancellation policy
We will contact you by phone or email to confirm your reservation.
For cancellation or changes, please call our restaurant or contact the following email address at least 2 business days before the reservation date. Customers who make reservations in groups of 10 people or more are requested to call our restaurant or contact the following email address at least 5 business days before the reservation date.

If you cancel later than above, a full course fee will be charged for each person.
